About Us
The International Seminar of Science and Applied Technology (ISSAT) is organized by Politeknik Negeri Bandung (Polban) to build a culture of international seminars and publications in the field of applied science and technology. The keynote speakers not only have international publication achievements but also industrialization experience from the results of research conducted in the engineering and non-engineering fields. ISSAT 2023 invites governments, academics, practitioners, and industries to talk together in an effort to Natural Resources Management for Environmental Sustainability.

Submission
Submission of Full Paper
[IMPORTANT] To submit an abstract, authors must create an account first. Then they can submit their abstracts by logging in to their account. The manuscript (full paper 6-10 pages) can be submitted only after authors accepted their abstract. The whole submission process is done fully online (NOT by email) to guarantee smooth administration. Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and Letter of Invitation (LoI) can be downloaded directly from your account once your abstract is accepted to be presented at the conference.
Payment of Registration Fee
[IMPORTANT] After making the payment, author MUST upload the payment proof through their account (NOT Email). Author can upload by logging in to the online system. Payment receipt can be downloaded directly from your account once your payment is confirmed by the committee.
- Papers should NOT have: Page numbers, Headers, Footers.
- All review processes are double blind reviews.
- To ensure the double- blind review process, please do not enter the author names in the paper that is going to be reviewed. Keep the author fields as it is. The author names are required for the final paper version. However, complete author names must be inserted in system. The author names and their positions cannot be changed after the paper is reviewed by the reviewer.
Important Note
The similarity level of Full Paper should not be more than 25%.

Keynote Speaker
Professor Yean-Der Kuan is professor at National Chin-Yi University of Technology (NCUT), Taiwan. He has a BS degree in aeronautical engineering from Tamkang University, Taiwan, an MS degree in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a PhD degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. His research and teaching interests include computer-aided modeling and optimization of composite material molding processes and design and manufacturing of microelectronic devices, renewable energy, heat and flow simulation, energy saving.
Dr. Nur Zakiah Hani bt Dato’ Dr. Kamarolzaman is Doctor of Education from Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) Malaysia. She is lecturer at Kuching Sarawak Polytechnic Malaysia. Her research and teaching interests: technical & vocational education and electrical engineering,
Prof. Dr. Ir. Andriyanto Setyawan, M.T. is professor at Department of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Politeknik Negeri Bandung (Polban), Indonesia. His research and teaching interests: refrigeration & air conditioning, fluid mechanics, two phase flow, and energy conversion.

Author(s)
- Authors attest that the material has not been previously published and that they have not transferred any rights to the article to another party.
- Authors should ensure the originality of their work and must properly cite others work in accordance with the approved references format.
- Authors should not engage in plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
- Authors should ensure that they follow the criteria for authorship as described in the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
- The authors must not disclose any personal information that may identify their subjects, such as overt descriptions, photographs or pedigrees. If photographs are essential to the article, the authors must receive written consent and state it clearly within the article.
